Why You Should Be Batch Recording Your Podcast Episodes

Nothing makes your girl happier than hearing the ding of a WhatsApp message saying …"the episode is in the Google Drive".

If you're currently recording 1 episode a week, and uploading the same week or the week after, you're doing a disservice to yourself. Batch recording saves so much time because you're already there and ready to record and you're in the frame of mind to be speaking into a microphone.

Picture this...

You've booked in 2 interviews and 2 solo episodes in your calendar for Tuesday. Now, I know it sounds like a lot so stick with me here. You get into your favourite recording spot, you've got your headphones on and your mic set up. You have water beside you and your podcast episode planner worksheet in front of you. You smash through all of these episodes and send them to your podcast producer to make them shine. You now don't have to record ANY episodes for the next 3 weeks.

Batching your podcast episodes improves productivity and saves you time to get back to doing the things you love without falling out of love with podcasting.

So, next time you set aside some time to record your podcast, book in your calendar an extra hour or half hour to record (at least) another episode. Your future self will thank you!
